Entering a Christmas Tree

Our Christmas Tree Festival is back and this year's theme is "Let's Celebrate!"  We are calling all families, individuals, voluntary groups, clubs, schools and businesses to enter a Christmas Tree.  Click below for more information and an application form.  Closing date for entries is Friday 19th November.

Events

There are lots of events planned for the weekend.  We are still working on the details, but make sure you put them in your diary now and come back soon for further details.

Friday 3rd December: Preview Evening (ticketed event £15.00)

Tickets are available to reserve, from Sheila Hoile, [email protected], and can be paid for and collected on the evening of the concert.

7pm Doors open

7.30pm-8.15pm Celebration Choir Concert.  The Celebration Choir is made up of members from the St Albans Bach Choir.  A wonderful introduction to Christmas which will include the audience joining in with the singing of Christmas carols.

8.15pm-9pm Drinks and light refreshments and the opportunity to view the Christmas trees.

Saturday 4th December: open 10am-4pm (entry fee £2, under 16s free)

10am Wreath-decorating workshop in the St Michael's Room (limited places, booking essential, £30)

11am Wreath-decorating workshop in the St Michael's Room (limited places, booking essential, £30)

2pm  Christmas story-telling in the Chancel (details to follow)

Sunday 5th December: open 11.30am-4pm (entry fee £2, under 16s free)

3pm Musical Offerings Around the Christmas Tree to close the festival.
