St Mary’s Church, North Mymms, is committed to the welfare, nurture and safekeeping of children, young people and adults with care and support needs and will endeavour to provide a safe environment for all.

We are committed to implementing a safeguarding policy and procedures based upon the CCPAS model policy. In addition the Parish will follow the Diocesan Procedures and recommended good practice and be responsive to local parish requirements.

St Mary’s recognises the importance of safeguarding and ensures that all its PCC members have an enhanced DBS check and that they, and all those who hold offices of responsibility, are required to undertake safeguarding training.
